1) What has to be the same in order for two parallelograms to be similar?
The ratio's and the angles have to be the same because if the angles were'nt the same the parrelelogram would not be the same figure and perimeter.
2) Describe a way to find a missing side length in a pair of similar figures.
If there is a missing side length you would find the scale factor and then mutiply the smaller # to the bigger #.
3) I have a small isosceles triangle with a base of 3 inches and other sides are 4 inches.I want to create a similar isosceles triangle with a base of 7.5 inches. What should the other side lengths be and why? The missing side length would be 10in because the scale factor is x2.5 and if you multiply 4x2.5 you would get 10in.
